HBO’s hit Westworld is returning for season two and our Shrinks are ready for it. Today’s episode covers hopes for the season, discussions on advancing technology, consciousness, morality, and the influence of affluence.
Westworld showcases an adult amusement park where rich vacationers can act out any illicit fantasy they see fit through artificial consciousness. When people have such wealth and access to things that entertain and please them, do they become desensitized? Westworld is just as much a commentary of an overabundance of wealth can lead to enjoyment and pleasure at the expense of other people.
Listen in as our panel of Shrinks discusses today’s trending topic: Westworld.

In our Doctor’s Orders segment, the Shrinks talk products and other things they are personally enjoying in pop culture.
