Psych Cinema: Logan

Welcome to Psych Cinema, Shrink Tank’s video series where I explore the psychological aspects of the films I watch and love.

Logan, the new Wolverine film starring Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart, is heavy with psychological themes.  In my Psych Cinema video, my psychological breakdown of the film and the character of Logan includes:

  • PTSD
  • Attachment Disorders
  • Alcoholism
  • Chronic Pain
  • Aging and the role of caretaker

I also briefly mention the Harvard Grant Study, a seventy-five year study that looked at the lifespan of men and what contributes to them living happy lives.

I hope you enjoy Psych Cinema and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
