Disney’s remake of their iconic classic “Beauty and the Beast” hits theaters today. The new film, starring Emma Watson, has been making headlines about the LaFou character being openly gay.  There has also been an ongoing discussion about feminism, Stockholm Syndrome, and how seriously should people take a fairy tale fantasy film.

Also, in the second half of the episode, Frank talks about AspieCon, a convention specifically for folks with Aspergers and their interests.

Listen in and find out who thinks Beauty and the Beast is the best Disney film, who hates Disney movies, and what the Shrink Tank team thinks about all the controversy surrounding the film.

Be sure to also check out our breakdown of the psychology of Beauty and the Beast in our Psych Cinema video here.
