Adele’s ‘Carpool’ Karaoke includes rapping, the Spice Girls, and more!
Adele cannot be stopped or topped. Everything she does turns into a priceless piece of pop culture treasure. Her latest example of world domination comes courtesy of the latest installment of “Carpool Karaoke,” which aired overnight on CBS.
In collaboration with James Corden, the British superstar was a very special guest on the Late Late Show as the pair shot the breeze, spilled a drink, played air drums and of course, tackled some Adele hits.
Some of the no-brainer choices were of course her hits “Hello,” “Rolling in the Deep,” and “Someone Like You.” Corden got the segment off and running with an opening phone call where he got to speak, rather than sing, the opening lyrics to Adele’s most recent hit.
Adele showed off her surprising rap skills with a phenomenal cover of Nicki Minaj’s verse in Kayne West’s “Monster.” Both Adele and Corden also proved their fandom for the Spice Girls on a rowdy and loud rendition of “Wannabe.”
